In Halton, we currently recycle just 25% of our domestic waste yet the national average is 34%. (It’s estimated that as much as 70% of what we throw away can be used again). Halton Borough Council are committed to increase the amount of waste we recycle and over the coming months, we’ll be introducing some changes to how we collect your waste to help achieve this.
